Why is there a purchase media button on the session view page?

Your AVCA subscription includes unlimited online streaming to the public.  However, it does not include supporting the public with media downloads.  We designed this feature to provide a win-win situation; it eliminates the overhead from the clerk’s office of having to find and produce copies of recorded meetings, and allows the end-user to obtain a copy of the media immediately.

We charge a modest fee to allow us the time to support the public when they encounter issues with media download or playback.  There isn’t anything precluding the end-user from asking the clerk’s office for a copy instead.

Please contact us if you wish to remove this feature or upgrade your subscription to include free downloads to the public.
