The recommended method is to mark the session as "private". Once private, the session will no longer be accessible to the public online.
Steps to make a session private
via AV Capture:
- Launch the AV Capture desktop app.
- Select (i.e. single-click) the desired session in the Browse Sessions window.
- Click the Edit button in the toolbar. This will open the Edit Session Details window.
- In the Edit Session Details window, check the Private checkbox.
- Click Save.
via Meeting Management portal:
- Login to the online Meeting Management portal.
- Find the desired session and click the 3 vertical dots icon in the Actions column (far right).
- Select "Edit" from the dropdown menu.
- Check the Private checkbox.
- Click Save.
Members of your organization with AVCA User accounts can still access private sessions online via the Meeting Management portal or Private Media portal. If this is unacceptable, you may completely remove the session by deleting it. Be aware that recovering a deleted session will require assistance from our support team.
